Amber Worth-Dibello

Amber in blueHello, my name is Amber Worth-Dibello. I am a software engineer living in South Florida with my husband, children and pets.

As a software engineer, I've worked with several object oriented programming languages (C++, C#, Java) as well as many scripting languages (Perl, TCL/Tk, Python). Languages are just ways of communicating ideas in the medium of a program though. In my experience, I've found that the ideas that are expressed, regardless of the language, are far more important that the syntactical specifics of the language involved in thier implementation.

I'm excited about much of the recent evolution in programming. Despite the fact that I am a die-hard linux geek, I have come to love working with .Net technologies. They make it much more simple to experiment with new concepts and algorithms while recycling legacy code.

Currently, I am working on a couple of different tracks. Professionally, I am studying to obtain an MCPD (Microsoft Certified Professional Developer). In addition, I am also feeding my curiosity with regard to distributed applications and cloud computing. I believe that with the advent of Web 2.0 and the technological drive toward a truly mobile web, this will be the future of software development.

In keeping with the current predominant philosophy, this site is a beta as well as a working copy. Through it I express idea as I learn and share in the development with others including the creator of this site, my husband, Richard (Rick).rick and amber
